Like UWSDWF its a axial 7 pin lock and its one of the easiest locks to pick. you have basicly two options tubular pick or a diamond pick & tension wrench. the tubular pick takes about 30 sec. and you will be able to code the key for it at the same time. using a diamond pick you have to pick it several times because it will reset the pins about ever 1/8 of a turn. because you can see the pins it makes picking it very easy. Just use your tension wrench and apply light pressure. Then using your diamond pick set each pin round robin style. thats all thier is to it.
hope this helps.
W.
(as a note you can use just about anything in place of the diamond pick to set the pins)

your a cool dude, for once a post like this backed up :)

I have seen many people take bic pens (be sure it fits. THe use a Sharpie marker and drawon the pen where the pins are lined up.

The use bobby pins or any flat steel and make 7 strips and place them on the pen and use a rubber band to secure them.

No take a tooth pick and break/cut it on something round and put this on the inside of the pen where the notch on the lock will be.

SInce the pen is plastic epoxy or super glue will hold it fast.

Its a very rigged up tool. but i should work.

When picking with it, use slight rotaion be gentel, and with the rubber band holding the peices of metal on the pen, push them down at each pin that you feel a little bind on (or jsut rough puching down.

Once you pick it this way, you will also have an imprint of the key, which you could hopefully take to a lockie along with pictures of the machine on your person, and he could cut a key by the impression you made.

ANd viola you have a key for what are they for tubulars 3.50$

Good luck mate :) Glad to see honest new guys, and glad to help them.

im not sure about the dust cap. mark the lock face like shown, keeping the lines centred on the pins. put what your using into the keyway and copy the lines onto your 'key'. that should give you the right spacings.

Wow, lol, finally a new person with a little common sense, and not to mention honesty. Good luck with the tubular pick, if you need any questions feel free to pm me. I have a feeling you'll like both picking and this site, it is a very addicting hobby :D . Just another thing to add, make sure on your next trip to the store, you pick up some cheap padlocks or deadbolt locks and have a go at those. you'll also probably want to either make or buy some decent picks if you want to get into it. a good pick making guide is here --> http://www.lockpicking101.com/viewtopic.php?t=2465
and a good beginner exercise is here --> http://www.lockpicking101.com/viewtopic.php?t=10677

Good luck :D

I wouldn't try dumb lock picking ideas, since its on a machine thats worth alot of money.. unless you can buy another and drill out the other.

I'd do it the professional way, get a tubular lock pick and do it.
Don't pick locks you rely on!
Drop me a line on aim or msn.

but if you dont want to spend the money for a tubular pick, you could always try paper impressioning, its similar to the pen cap method but i find its easier to set up and to find the materials, just find something cylindrical with a diameter similar to your keyway and roll a small piece of stiff paper (such as an index card) and wrap it around the cylinder, then flatten and tape one end and use the other like a pen cap.

hope i was some help :)
