LSS manual?

Postby strangedream » 9 Feb 2007 7:59

The LSS manual contains everything except on how to open the locks and safes. Its just a bunch of stuff on how they are built and their history. That doesnt help me much if I want to be a locksmith.

And your thread doesnt help the other members much on here, what was the point of it again?
I dont reccolect LSS ever suggesting that it taught you how to do anything,

Thats very strange. My copy of LSS gives very specific instructions, it even borrows information from the HPC Lockpick Training Materials.

I have to ask, what version of LSS are you refering to. The actual book 2nd edition or the LSS+ CD version?

My god what a understatment. Now i do agree thier are some comparable/better publications on lockpicking/bypassing out there. To say that it has no information nor would it help anyone on locksmithing is a joke. Im not sure if your basing you information on the trial CD version (which i've never seen) or just what they have availible on security.org.

As I stated in my opinion Ive seen better single publications relating to one subject, but i have never come across one source of information that covers such a broad spectrum relating to:
locksmithing, security, investigation, history, safety (etc.) and all the sub categories that they encompass.

Add me to the list of people that are confused about this post.

My LSS has plenty of information on picking/bypassing.
