I don't know if this is already produced but let me know what you guys think of this for a new lock.
Basically, you have the same set up as a normal cylinder, except that it would be cut in half. So instead if one rotating part - you would have 2. You would be able to pick the first cylinder- but it would just spin freely. It would be more difficult to insert a tension wrench into the far end of the lock to pick it...but would still be susceptible to bumping. You could also make it so the that wards on the first turning part of the cylinder would be different than the other turning part of the cylinder.
Not that there is a huge need for another type of lock.....but do you see any flaws with the idea?
