Sreet sweeper pick!

Take a street sweeper brisel, then take tin snips and snip a triangleof the end so its like a point and put it in a lock (all the way) push down pull out usualy sets all the pins in a 6-1 pin lock if not probly the second time if not you probly made it wrong but its soooo easy and so handy i barely use my other picks now!! and it looks cool is you bend a tension wrench on the other side! HOPE IT HELPS!

I think you will find that this tool does not work on a wide range of locks. What locks have you had success on? From you description it sounds like a crude rake of sorts, that being said i'm sure it works on certain models.

Have you looked into the Bogota picks that are featured in the Manual lock picks section? They are a more refined version of what it sounds like you are using.....

tin snips then stick it in a lock and pull... that sounds like a good way to damage pins or snap a pick in a lock.

Sorry dude i don't think this would be recommended at all the way you have suggested it.

What you have is a very crude damaging rake. or a big diamond pick.

Sorry to <Explicit Deleted> on your bonfire.

All the best

I imagine it has the same effect as using the back of a diamond pick.... ie. on cheap locks it may be able to rake and set the pins but i dont see it revolutionising the picking industry.

post a pic of the lock.
it may be possible on a wafer lock. i just opened one off a wheel clamp using a folded 2 inch square piece of paper

are you sure your not releasing the latch mechanism that secures the shackle with the point of your 'pick'?

Was it a padlock you picked? Maybe you accidently retracted the bolt? :?
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture
