Hello.
I found this site from a google search and I have always been interested in lock picking and such since I was younger. So I signed up. I've been reading a lot in the forums here and am trying to learn all I can. Before I start posting so that I can know what everyone is talking about and so that I can make intelligible posts.
I'm going to get a lock picking set for my birthday, (may) and I don't have the tools to make my own lock picks so until then I probably won't be able to see how much I've learned.
But anyway, here I am. Just saying hi.

Hi,
Just signed up and saying hello!!!
So far the site looks great, I've already found a few articles/tutorials that have made think.
I've literally only started properly trying to pick the past week or so after i managed to pick a padlock I lost the key for with a paperclip and a small screwdriver. Once I managed to get it open I thought I'd love to actually know what Ive just done and how it works - so here I am!!!
great to have so much info at hand
cheers guys

Welcome everybody,
For all thoes new to the site and lockpicking, LP101 is a great place to start.
Take a look at the new users section, first and don't be afraid to ask any questions just remember to try a search before posting. Cause everyone should HYSF as well as there Pick-fu.
If you're looking for locks to pick, buy some but, DO NOT PICK LOCKS YOU OR ANYONE ELSE RELY ON
I repeat DO NOT PICK LOCKS YOU OR ANYONE ELSE RELY ON, they can and will break, then your house/car/safe/chasity belt is vulnerable or unable to be opened (think: emergency situation).
Keep it legal.
Cheers,
UWSDWF

Hey all,
Just joined LP101 today, so I'm new to this site, but not so new to lock picking. It's a great hobby, isn't it?
If anyone is interested, I just created something of a "how-to" video on how to make your own lock picking tools. You can watch it at metacafe here: How To Make Lock Picking Tools
Enjoy.

Hey Folks
My brother got me a set of picks by way of an unusual birthday present - result - I am hooked. A lock is like a crossword to me, so I hope to get lots of tips off your site. Cheers

Hello everyone, I'm new to this site and I need some info on a particular kind of lock made by sargent. I'm not sure how best to describe it but a diagram would be useful.

Hi all,
I'm lorenzo, I come from Italy, I'm 16 years old and I'm new in the world of lockpicking. For me open a lock with no key has been only a dream for a lot of years, but I find a guide to lockpicking few days ago. I'm very intrested to this sport-hobby and I have already unlocked 5 locks .
I make a lot of exercises, and I would also buy my first lock pick set. I read the FAQ and I'm intrested to:
http://www.lockpickshop.com/page/LPS/PROD/LS/C1510
and
http://www.lockpickshop.com/C2010.html
Can you help me?
I'm sorried for my bad english, but I'm just a student
Hallo and thanks to everyone who can help me.
