Yeah, not bad Noah. I didn't know that one, but then I'm not that into electonic/electromech locks. Quite an interesting concept, but I wonder how secure it actually is (as strong as the knobset it's on )

Sorry i don't explain why it's a Fichet 666 and not a Fichet 690 as i have seen in another post.
The reason why it's a 666 is because of the side-bar. It's rond in the 666 (in the middle of the lock) and flat in the 690 (a little shifted up).
The 666 key is in iron and shorter than the 690 which have plastic head.

Unfortunately for Fichet, they are one of the most secretive lock making companies in the world and because of that, hardly anyone seems to know what the model numbers are for their locks! To Fichet, I say: wake up and put your product information on line like any other modern lock company. People will then make less mistakes when talking about your products.

Dear Greyman

The 690 does exist but it's ony sold for a restricted market : houses with low cost.
The 690 is a double cylinder (like the 484 or the 787) build for a non-mortice lock (i don't know the oposite word of mortice lock because i don't use any translater) with a defender.
The 666 is a monobloc cylinder for mortice lock without any defender.
For information 666 means juny (6th month) 1966.
The 690 means juny 1990.
