Well the pic is kinda blurry so I can't tell what brand they are but it's possible there may be security pins in them. When you are picking can you feel and hear the pin stacks setting at the shearline? How much tension are you applying to the plug? Too much will just cause the pins to bind and stay in the wrong places. Too little and the spring force will push the pins back down. And finally, you're not using paper clips or bobby pins to pick them are you? Cheap tools will frustrate most any lockpicker. Sorry for asking so many random questions but you were pretty vague in the discription you gave of your problem.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

You say you have all of the pins up,

By that i dont know or cant gauge what it is you mean as i dont know you,

If you mean the piuns are all up as far as you can push them then thats not how you pick locks click my www button and then my signiture pic,

If you are familier with how lockpicking works then i assume you mean you believe that all the pins are up to the shearline,

If this is the case then i tell you they arent of that i can be certain,

Make sure your not false setting a security pin or that you are actually on the shear with each pin,

Let us know your experiance and technique or else were shooting in the dark,

very common misconception

Postby raimundo » 19 Apr 2007 9:25

a very common misconception for newbs, is to think that pushing the pins up as far as you can and keeping them there with hard tension is the thing to try, consult the key to the lock and see if you really think its about pushing them all the way, the key has cuts that let them down, so you should read the basic details again, probably you read them when you had no lock or picks to help understand, now you need to read them more carefully while holding a lock in one hand and a pick in the other to help understand.
