MY LOCK LIST

Postby jivers » 13 Mar 2007 22:29

PICKED LIST:

-Hundreds of Weisers, kik's, deadbolts, morts, rims, padlocks
-Schlage C, E ,EF, Q, 1236 (5 and 6 pin) kik's, deadbolts, morts rims and padlocks
-Yale 8's and GA's (4-6 pin.. 4 pin GA is what i started learning on)
-Sargent : 5 and 6 pin (mainly LA and LC's)
-Medeco 3 pin cam lock x2!
-2 viro morts
-5 S54F (easy.. .kinda like weisers..)
-1 best 7 pin (that was a proud moment)
-3 schlage Everest (regular and bobby pin bypass)
-4 gallon pail of Papaiz padlocks
-Regular and commercial Master Padlocks
-Random assa KIK that came with a unican e-plex.. 6 pin
-a zillion crappy cam locks
-1 pro series master padlock (only once... by fluke.... i hate these padlocks)
-2 ford ignitions
-1 chrysler ignition
-1 chevy ignition

and i think that's it... i live in a small town and i work in the only lockshop for 130miles... all we typically sell is Schlage and Weiser for low security and Schlage Primus and Abloy Disclock Pro for high security so i don't get to try much for fun weird things... like medco's or bests... or bilocs or assa twins... or crazy euro stuff...

Havn't picked but am working on:

Schlage Primus
2 medco biax's
1 bastard weiser (it's broken but i'm determined to get it picked... and i say it's broke because i can't pick it and i've decided it's the only reason i can think of)
1 Best (pick to shear line so i can rekey it)

This is going to be short and pathetic compared to most everyone else's list, but here goes.

Picked:
several Kwikset deadbolts and a "Super" brand Kwikset knockoff
Master 140
Master tsa luggage lock
Master non tsa luggage lock (a bit harder)
Cyclepro cheap padlock
cvs store brand padlock
a very easy wafer lock
master combination lock with keyway in rear

Bypassed:
Master 175
several warded masterlocks
several master combination locks

Unpicked: (laugh all you want)
Master no. 3
Several Schlage deadbolts
Tricircle padlock
Master no. 1
Kryponite bicycle wafer lock

for some reason the Master no.3 is giving me some real problems, shouldn't it be easier to open?

Update: i can now consistently pick the no.3 (i forgot about overcoming the spring tension) and i can also consistently opened a no.1 and no.5 now.
I have a wafer lock on my computer and i had lost the key to it. I needed to install my new dvd writer and i had lost the key so i just opened it with my half ball, this was my first practical application of lock picking
:D
It's a simple question Doctor, would you eat the moon if it were made of ribs?!

Hey,

Ive only just been able to pick a full un-altered couple of locks and im not sure on the brands but ive picked:

1 Oval 6pin cylinder with a half-hook and also with a rake.
1 door knob lock with 5pins
I think their all of decent quality too.

Have'nt picked:

Lockwood 5pin brass padlock
"AAA" brass padlock
and many more!

But the fact that my first ever picked lock is a 6pin was quite morale boosting after over a year of un-sucess-if i can pick a lock anyone can!
