Hi,
I started picking a few months ago and have been lurking your site for help. It is an absolute wealth of info, thank you so much if it were not for you guys I would never have reached the standard I have managed so far. Picking locks with tools I have made myself is a great buzz :)

:D hi....
I am seeking help
I have a Sentry Safe 1235 which has 3 number combination and yes... you guessed it... I have lost it.... and worse, guess where the manual is... yep... in the safe. I know... something missing between the ears..LOL
I do know that the manual had 3 options for the combination and I changed it to one of the optional number combinations.....

Any way... my name is Ronald
I am from Northland New Zealand
And know as much about locks as a baby knows about spelling.... nothing

'd like to extend my greetings to those new members that'd like to contribute to the society.
Share and learn, man.

Furthermore, kiwiwiseman (or Ronald, whichever name you like), to my deepest regret you are too new for information for safes.

There are several reasons for this.
- The forum rules simply don't permit such valuable and dangerous information to be handed to new members (because we're not familiar with them).
- There's also the matter of you not being ready for safes yet (just because it takes a vast amount of time to get to know the inner workings of safes, which is a must for knowing how to open them).

So, if your matter is pressing, I strongly advise you to hire a locksmith that is able to open safes (preferrably via Non-Destructive Entry, as safes are just fun to have).

However, if you have a year to spare, and are dedicated, yoú might find yourself opening that safe yourself.
All in due time though, I suggest you read the rules about that.

Sincerely yours,

Jordy

Hello all

Hi everyone! I just activated my account today. I'm interested in lockpicking as a hobby, and locksmithing as a profession. I'm far from experienced, and have found a lot of helpful advice here so far. I've picked a few locks, and have to admit I still feel like I've just witnessed a miracle every time a lock pops for me. Even my confidence locks.

Newbie greetings

I love this site. I first discovered this site when I was trying to figure out how people where breaking into some storages rooms and robbing me blind.

There is such a wealth of information here. Thanksfully alot of my questions have been asked and answered. After some exhaustive reserach, I finally ordered my first pick set. I would have luved to order something from the sponsor http://www.lockpickshop.com using the lp101 coupon code but I couldn't pass up the outlet prices at Southern Ordnances' web site.

I'm getting a "blemished" MPXS-14 set for $27.95 (plus shipping). Can't wait for it to arrive.

Yes I am new to the site, and I've been lurking around for a while gaining a wealth of knowledge. Thanks to everyone who has been nice and helpfull, thanks to all the idiots as well. Reading the posts have been both enlightening and entertaining. I look forward to being an active member of this site who contributes, both morally and with working knowledge in picking.

Welcome everybody,
For all thoes new to the site and lockpicking, LP101 is a great place to start.
Take a look at the new users section, first and don't be afraid to ask any questions just remember to try a search before posting. Cause everyone should HYSF as well as there Pick-fu.

If you're looking for locks to pick, buy some but, DO NOT PICK LOCKS YOU OR ANYONE ELSE RELY ON
I repeat DO NOT PICK LOCKS YOU OR ANYONE ELSE RELY ON, they can and will break, then your house/car/safe/chasity belt is vulnerable or unable to be opened (think: emergency situation).
Keep it legal.
Cheers,

Good afternoon,

I have been a member for a while now and would like to say Hi to everyone.

I have always been keen on lock manipulation since I was a young-un and still find it highly addictive.

I would like to congratulate you on having such and informative forum, you have done very well.

Good day.
