Newbie set of picks...will they work?

Having read the FAQ's you are still unfulfilled and seek more enlightenment, so post your general lock picking questions here.

get the slims but don't be heavy handed... you'd be surprised how stupid people are and therefore break shiat


the SO slimlines do bend over time.... which is why i recommend a backup short hook. I keep a couple of spare Peterson hooks and i reckon u could throw them like a knife if u wanted to.

Just in case anyone is interested, yes Peterson picks are in fact that strong. I just had to try it. but remember kids, don't try this at home.

Thanks for the info, I will definately try to get the pick set. Is there anything else worth getting to teach me the basics of lock picking? I mean something that I could maybe watch or read in like 10-30 mins, I don't have much time usually. I know the very very basic stuff like applying tension with the wrench and the idea of trying to push the pins up.

LSS is meant to be good but a bit out of my price range

and of course
this site, spend a couple of hours a day reading on here till uve read everything.
