2 questions before starting making picks...

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

2 questions before starting making picks...

1. Well i bought what is needet but didnt want to buy too much saw blades because i am a beginer lockpicker nad beginer lockpick maker so you bought just 3 . My lockpicks templates are long 19CM and my blades are 31CM would it happen nice if iI cut the blade in 2 equal pices and make not but 6 tools.

2. This depend on the answer of the first
I am making picks from this template

If I am making 3 picks wich shoud I do and if I am making 6 again wich shoud i do. I think about the half diamond , snake , feeler but dont know which is best....

A couple of hooks and a diamond, then maybe some rakes.

Thanks and the hook with a diamond on the end forgot it's name would it be useful? And about to first question ? :)

i use 12" hacksaw blades and i cut then in half roughly and i can get two picks out of them

That's what I do to keep from wasting metal. I can easily get 3 picks out of 1 blade. That does of course depend on how big you like your handles.

Thank you from the three blades I will make 6 tools but wich tools will be best to make? :roll:
I think of small diamond medium diamond small hook medium hook medium hook with diamond on the end(still dont remeber it's name) and a snake.

Hope the names are wright. Well is this combination good?

make a small diamond and a couple of hooks and see which you get on with best.
