Clear / Transparent practice locks

Postby JohnnyTH » 14 Aug 2007 13:47

Greetings

I'm looking for a place where to buy a transparent lock for practicing, in which you can see the pins and understand what's going on. Possibly cheap :)

Thank you

Have you tried here ? :

I believe they are good, but I decided not to buy any of them when I saw the price :D

In my opinion they are a waste of money. You could spend that cash on good quality pick sets instead. But thats just me but I guess some could possibly benefit from such visual aids.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

I think that everyone can learn how to pick on cheap locks they buy in any ironmongery. It's not that hard to visualize it when you've got tutorials with photos ( like the locksport one ).

But if you really need it, there's no other way than buying it.

in my opinion, picks are picks, what if they are Majestic or Southord, or any others? What if they are hardened steel or spring steel. In my opinion, i'd say buy one 14 pcs set and your on it baby(even if i'm not***** able to pick

I have flu and I'm starting to go feverish. My reply is going to be nasty, I prewarn you.

Your post really annoyed me because it was frankly bollocks.

You can't pick locks, and therefore have no input into what constitutes a good pick.

Different people prefer different picks.

I like the simple slimline picls - others prefer thicker picks wit plastic handles.

Go crawl into a corner and die.
