I made a cool invention yesterday night and

What is the purpose of this modified bobby pin?
Wrenchman Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

Spear the olives and then hook it on the edge of the martini glass so you don't have to dig them out of your alcohol.

A button hook for lever and very sinple warded locks?
You could either use it to overlift the levers if the springs were fairly weak, or slide the latch on a warded lock.
On thin doors that have woefully big gaps you could possibly catch the latch mechanism.
It would work for any of the above situations, but I'm not sure if this is what you designed it for.
