Okay let me explain it again. This is nearly identical the Masterlock number No. 176 Padlock. http://www.masterlock.com/cgi-bin/produ ... mplate=app

Stick a feeler pick (or a short or long hook) just inside the top of a wheel! It should be inside just enough so that the top of the pick has vanished inside the lock housing. But not so much that the pick shaft starts to enter the lock. While the shackle is pressed DOWN lever the pick to the left or right and then release the shackle after you can no longer lever it any farther to the left or right.

Do it untill it works. There is no reason why you should not be able to get it to work. I taught a homeless blind man on the street outside my apartment complex how to do it. I would post some pictures but then this would be moved to the Advanced forums, never to be heard from again :(

Once the lock is open, could you reset the combo?

i didn't know the key wouldn't work m8, it wont go in with the shackle locked and now even with the shackle open it wont go in far enough to turn.

Could you take a picture of where you are suppose to put the key. Maybe it is still possible to reset the combo? I want to try but im not sure how the reseting process works... could you explain..

there's a small keyhole in the side, it looks like when you put in the key it depresses a plunger in the centre of the wheels, turning the key just locks it in position so you can spin the wheels to a new combi. when you remove the key i'm guessing the plunger slides out and the new combi is set with the wheels locked in new positions by the plunger.

missus has my phone at the moment at work, but will put a pic up tomorrow if needed m8.
