I just bought my first few picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

these are the picks i bought and yes i did buy them from lockpickshop.com.
short hook, small diamond, c rake, tension wrench, key extractor, and a double ball.

i was just wondering if these are decent to start with.

those are perfect to start with. I can open majority of my locks with the small hook. I heard the small diamond is good but im still getting used to it. Now get yourself some practice locks and practice.

I agree that's a good start. I started with the hook but i have been using the half diamond more and more. What type of locks are you starting out on?

I almost never use the double ball anymore but do rely heavily on a variety of hooks and one small double ended diamond for tight locks. So yeah, thats a great set you got there.
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

No there is not a language barrier, it is chat speak and thus not good.

ROTF... ooops.. I am currently rolling back and forth on my floor while laughing with enough force that others can hear it.

How long did it take you to make all of those picks? They look great!
