If you made a comb pick with one tooth you could basically go through, push all the pins up while applying tension with it (binding order preferred to be most effective).
Then take your pick, and go through any left over pins, and set one of them, the comb again, and keep alternating until picked.
Not as simple as normal combing however still easier than setting all the pins to the sheer:)
