You were given the standard answer given to people who make requests such as you did. We are not here to help you save money on a locksmith. You will not be able to pick a multilock without special tools, the use of said tools is not something we discuss in the open forums. Basically, we cannot help you, call a loccksmith.

Hello, I am new here. I am interested in becoming a locksmith and through that interest found this site which motivated me to order some lockpicks and locks. I have been able to pick up to 5 pin Kwiksets, including one with 5 spool pins, and Schlage 5 pins, but the Schlage with spool pins is kicking my butt.
I have also started with Assured Locksmith Training and would be willing to review and give information on here if that is allowed and anyone is interested. It seems there is a great deal of info on here about the Foley Belsaw course, but not as much on the others.
Thanks for the great site.

Hi All,
I found you guys buy watching a site member on youtube pick a Medeco and referance this site. I have a little experiance in this field and just walked back in from doing an opening in fact. I also have enough experiance to know how little knowledge I really have. This should be fun here.

yay:) Got my set and picked my first lock today ( a ton of times:P )..The 2nd lock I tried however..well, let's not even mention it:P A fair bit of annoyance there, hehe. Think I'll have to go through that guide starting with 1 pin, going to 2 and so on to get anywhere, so guess I'll go lock-shopping tomorrow.

Hi, my names Tao, I'm 19. I've been interested in security since I was about 12, mainly computer networks. I've always known lockpicking was a favorite hobby among hackers due to the security nature of it. But I've only recently got into it.
I read the MIT guide to lockpicking about a year and a half ago, so I've understood the basic theory behind picking for a while. But it wasn't until Monday that I actually got around to getting some picks. So far I've successfully only picked one lock, but I've got a few I'm working on, and am considering getting a cutaway.
This looks like a huge community and I think I'll learn a lot here.

Hi All,
I’ve been lurking on this forum for a couple of weeks now, and I have already learned a ton about locks and the locksmith biz.
I’ve been a Maintenance Tech. (for 10 years) on a large apartment complex and I have already used some of the knowledge that I have gleaned from this site .
Thanks for all the good info.
Mike

Lol I've made 3 posts before seeing the Welcome Thread.
Officially: Hello everybody!
I've been LPing for a few months now, though I've been wanting to do it since I was a kid. When I was a kid, I asked one of my Mom's co-workers if he knew how to pick locks, and he showed me his Snake rake pick. He told me all about it, but wouldn't show me how to actually use it LOL. So yeah, present day, I've got my picks and have gotten over 10+.
Let's see...
Home: 3 out of 4 locks at the front (2 on screen door, 2 on main door), my door lock, Grandma's door, aunt's room door, pantry door (the less difficult one of the house) the shed lock, my Mom's white cabinet lock, and a pin tumber lock on a square box. [10]
Aunt's work: 1 on the front door, 1 on the kitchen door, 1 on the back door, 2 on the basement door, and 1 on the garage door. [6]
Padlocks: 1 Bell bike lock (is mine, pin tumber, hard case, but won't be using it again lol), 1 small Master lock (mine as well, my Snake pick may as well be the key for that one!), and 1 round padlock, I think it was by Ace, it had a Polar Bear on it. [3]
Holy crap, 19 so far!
