I made it from an arc welding rod, just smash of the powder stuff, grind and bend simple...Bit think sometimes, but works 95% of the time

Seriously.

How many threads do you have to make?

Try using the search engine.

The guy sounded sorry enough to me. :)

Is a good shape that you could make easily from street sweeper bristles.
Sorry about the poor picture quality. That was the first tension wrench i made, and that was a long way back when i had a rubbish digital camera.

ya know.... I hate twist flex wrenches... I really do..
They, for me, put too much of a buffer between what is going on and what I feel.. I like a firm wrench where I can feel things... yep
I wish the world was flat like the old days, and I could travel just by folding the map.

Funny thing though. The twist gives you a wide flat surface to press against, as opposed to a sharp narrow one.

Also, for beginners there is just no substitute. After a point, you simply can't put any more tension on one of those things. Depending on the material used, postition of the twist, thickness of material.

I make one out of narrow, thin clock spring steel exclusively for beginners. It automatically puts just the proper amount of tension on the plug. Once they have that down, I recomend going to a firmer wrench.

Yea, I do like the wide surface, but I just hate the feeling i get from them... I can't even seem to open a lock with them... last night I was demonstrating opening a lock with 2 spools in it for a friend... and i grabbed my Twist wrench without noticing right off (I was talking and not really paying attention to what I was doing) and I couldn't do it at all.. then I switched to my regular wrench and bada bing! opened right up...

I just don't like twists...
