Most Master locks that I've seen do have only 4 pins but its not
the 4 digit code that tells you that. Master lock uses what they
call INDIRECT codes which basically means Master keeps a big list
of the codes that tells them how to cut the pins for a particular code.
It doesnt match pin by pin. Even tho your probably right that it
has 4 pins its not the code that tells you that in this case.
Your house lock may use a direct code so if thats the case then
if it has 4 digits it would have 5 pins. If its not a direct code then thered
be no way to tell.
