picking addons

Postby dlink » 4 Jan 2009 0:59

Hi there
Just got back in to picking about a week ago and tryed pick this deadbolt.
The tolrances a small from what i was use to, and after playing around a bit, you could hear quiet clicks when a pin was set.

I was just wondering if anyone here use a high gain microphone connected to the lock, to aid in hearing those clicks.

Cheers

you won't need one, its all in the feed back from the picks, you will be able to feel when the pins are set and the more practice you have the better you will feel it, no need for a microphone.

You don't need any clicks you can feel the pine easy without need to hear them if you don't fell them try with more tension that way you will sense how a pin wont move easy because its binding and that's what you need.
