HELP!!!

Postby zoukai » 14 May 2009 19:27

Today I picked my first lock...
its a Koala hardened lock but the only problem is is that I can't keep it consistent.
What I mean is that sometimes I just insert the pick wrench and it works... other times I am working on it for over 20 min... any advice?

What are you doing with the tension wrench?

Lock picking is a two part process. The tension is at least as important as moving the pins.

If it's taking you over 20 min just stop
and try again later
sometimes locks give you hard time picking them
other times they just pop up open in seconds
keep on practicing
also work on your tension wrench
light to medium
hope this helps.
