I used my eagle manual pick gun to open the lockwood lock on my front door today and it worked first time. I then thought I'd use the Klom electric to try it as well but for the life of me I can't get it open with the klom. I don't know if I have it set up wrong or not as with the manual pick gun when you pull the trigger you can really see the pick snap up but with the klom there doesn't seem to be much if any upwards snapping. is there supposed to be?

I received my Klom Electric rechargeable pick gun today arrived from China via DHL after opening the package i find i had NO instructions at all as to what all these parts and picks and tiny parts had to do with this gun AND i had to go out and purchase a 5.00 Euro to American plug adapter in order to charge the guns battery. after a 2 hour charge it was ready to go.I did open a few locks with it NOT as easy as some make it look buti managed it. and ive broken my first pick ALREADY and it wasn't even in a bind. Fliingggg never to be seen again its in my room some where i will probably step on it one of these nights in the dark stumbling to the bathroom lol the picks are of VERY flimsy quality several of them where bent (i was told this was a brand new kit yea ok!) some parts where apparently missing small washers and such still don't know what the little metal feeler things with all the fingers are for or the small black handled picks are for. i will have to guess at that. So i suppose ill make a better purchase some day for something american made with instructions but until then here we go heres a few things that may make it easier for those of you that already bought Klom electric pick gun.

A photo of what you mean would help a lot, we're not there with you so have no idea which way you're trying the pick profiles. upload photos to http://imgur.com or http://tinypic.com and Copy/Paste in your reply here.

By they way, are you into hobby picking or are you a working locksmith? I ask because an electric pick really takes any fun out of the challenge of picking a lock.

You can make your own pick inserts for pick guns and electric picks out of, windshield wiper blade inserts or street sweeper bristles.
