what is the keyway section? YA1E is the most common so maybe thats why you ended up with them over there.

I've honestely never heard of ITO before. So I had a look at the Silca key blank catalogue. ITO is a Turkish company. Thats about all. No real info on the locks and keys. It looks like a generic 5 pin euro profile cilinder.

OK I know its an old thread but I have a ITO euro style lock, 5 pin. Can rake it in 10 seconds and SPP in under a minute.
I am just a beginner so I would say they are not secure.

ITO is a Turkish manufacturer owned by Ingersoll Rand. They make 5 pin rim cylinders, standard cylinders with 5 pins, and dimple cylinders with 6 pins. All are quite easy to pick. The cylinders are also easy to snap, pry, pull or otherwise destroy, but they are cheap. It is likely they gave the lowest price to the army back during the war.

Ingersoll Rand also owns Schlage and they do cheapen everything they touch. They recently changed names to Allegion in a sad attempt to distance themselves from their low quality products
