American SL40 pins

Postby WolfSpring » 9 Oct 2009 3:29

So I got bored and filed out an SL40 American Lock today that had been cut and I picked. Its pin layout is:

5 Serated Keypins
3 Sporated Driver pins(2,4,5)
2 Serated Pins(1,3 / these pins have 4 grooves in them, most I've seen are in american are 3. I've picked a few of these and they pick nicely for having so many security pins. This one was banged up and the lock body had been mangled pretty bad, it was removed from a container that was on fire by the FD, but the insides were pretty intact. For a brass lock that is easy to pick it has a lot of security. I would like to put some pics up later, but My camera battery has died on me, I cannot charge it at all. I leave is 60 days no use buying a new one when I have one back home.
What most people call intelligence I call common sense.
