Easy Entrie machine?

I have some keys I could use some copies of, but of course, the key blanks are not produced at all anymore. (trust me, I've checked a few times now)

A posting on the open-area of Clearstar might bear some fruit in this situation... Lots of locksmith shops out there with literally tons of old keyblanks...

Do you know the keyway(s) you are looking for ?

He's looking for a Medeco 02 keyway.. 00 was AIR, 04 was SKY, 02 was for a certain 1976 stainless steel shrouded padlock =) No way a locksmith has that hanging on a wall.

Asking for the impossible is one thing... Asking for a government restricted keyblank is another...

Creating those blanks with an Easy Entrie machine is ill advised...

The best thing to do is try and retrofit a new cylinder to the "certain 1976 stainless steel shrouded padlock in question"...

They do sell a new cylinder for that padlock in the S1 commercial keyway. It's not easy to get but if you call the right rep they'll be able to order one. But putting one of those in an old collectible lock would not make it as period correct, but then again a brand new key machined on a CNC machine wouldn't be period accurate either! =)
