I'm a 70 yr.old retired locksmith and Safe and Vault Technician of 45 years from Connecticut and can prove it. I have some tools, code keys, books, code books and Safe technical brochures and a complete safe manipulation course with cutaway locks and graphs and equipment to get rid of. Some locks and parts as well. Also have for free, information that could and should be spread over your members so they get to know what they are really up against when they go out on a job and what they need as well as what to carry with them. Learning little tricks that only come with experience will be extremely benificial. Not what some seem to spout off as Bible of Locksmithing. If you haven't walked the walk, don't talk. Start listening. Ill give you the real lowdown. Haven’t got of time left to teach, but I’ll try. Just be patient with me and you’ll learn more for free than you could pay for. I’m for real. Yup! These two paragraphs were sent to the moderator as part of a discussion and you will find that they are in part redundant. Please excuse this and we’ll get on with the data. I'm putting a list and some photos together of my unsold equipment so as to give a visual of the material as well as discuss it. It will show the "Lockmasters" Safe Lock Manipulation course as well as all the cutaway safe locks, graphs and tools. I also have numerous code keys, code books a couple of Safe lock code and manipulation books as well as John D. Brush's Co. (Sentry) safe Manipulation sheets, as well as drilling procedure on a good portion of their locks. I was also a Safe & Vault Lock Technician for that time so I also have Lockmasters Safe Technical brochures which about 40 are in color and rest (approx. 40 or so) in B&W. You can't find most of these anywhere in the original format and today are rare as hens teeth unless you are a Safe Lock Technician. New cased lockpicks and broken key extractors, original jacknife pickset, and many other things too numerous to sit and type.

Hello! I am relatively new to lockpicking, I have already made some homebrew picks and I'd like to polish my skill further as I am mostly interested in crafting rather than picking, however, I take pleasure in both.
Happy picking!

New here
was interested in lockpicking and how locks work a bit in high school, just played with locks and tools lying around the house
looking to try getting into it again, maybe give me something to occupy me during the slow days at work (its how I learned some tricks with my zippo... too much free time :P)

Hey, I have wanted to learn the art of picklocking for the last few years and tonight I decided it was time to start. I have never picked a lock in my life and before finding this place I just read an article on the basics of lock picking. I hope to buy a good pick locking set and a simple lock soon and see what wonders this journey has to offer!

G'day all.
Im Charlie, I am 31 and I live in Adelaide, Australia.
I am new to this site, obviously, and lockpicking in general. My interest started last week when my housemate told me about a lock box he had bolted to the inside of his big old wardrobe and had been unable to open for 4 years after losing the key. Not wanting to damage his wardrobe further by crowbar-ing the thing out, he asked me to have a go at picking the lock. With my fascination for puzzles I was keen to try and after watching a quick video on youtube and using 2 paperclips I managed to open the lock in no time. Afterward, I also successfully opened a couple of padlocks around the house.
So now Im fascinated by the world of lockpicking and am interested in taking the next step!
