Tell me one, and I will name a few others that are equal.
But in fact, there's an infinite number of other sequences that's always equal.

Cheers

Some other sequences that will result in the same disk state are for example:

DUUR =
- RUUR (that's what the Visualizer at http://visualizer.theopensourcelock.org/ will immediately show you)
- D UU UUUUU UUUUU R RRRRR (movements can be repeated in multiples of 5)
- DLDDDDDUUR
- RULUR
- RUDUR
... and an infinite number of others.

If the last two movements (here: UR) are different, then they have to be the same in all sequences.

I should add to that rule:
"... but you can always add 'multiples of 5' to the end of a sequence."

Need help! I have just bought that Master Lock ONE 1500iEURDCOL. I programmed combination that was too short and now it won't reopen! My code was up, up and up. Instructions says that length must be between 4 to 90...? These instructions are in Finnish language. So how to I reopen it? With an axe?

Codes cannot be too short. You can e.g. also use zero or one movement.

It probably will open on Up, Up or Up, Up, Up, Up.
Or Up, Up, Up, and then a little bit down (as in: let the knob snap back down).

I too have purchased the Master Lock 1500iD Speed Lock and can't seem to figure out my password. When I tried to set it, I used the old Contra game code: U,U,D,D,L,R,L,R But it didn't seem to work and know it won't open. Another sight I looked at said that if this occurred, click it twice, then put in your code, then the factory code, then it should open. Tried that, didn't work. Another site said to click only once, then put in your code twice, and then it should open, surprise, didn't work. So I'm hoping you guys can help me out on this.

If you forgot to reset the code (==click it twice) before you programmed your own code, then try:
click it twice, then enter the factory code, then your own code.

Also, try letting the knob snap back at the end of the sequence rather than properly guiding it back to the middle position, if that's something you might have done during programming.

Good luck.

(If you can't get it to work, donate it to your local locksport group.)

Here's a link to a brute force method I generated with Python if you're willing to try all 7500 combinations. :P

I have bought a couple of these and taken every piece out and put it together in working order again. I have a video that I put multiple combinations in and they all work. I'll find my paper and add it but here's the link to my video on it. Hope it helps. Video also has a link in the description to an online visualizer.

If you undo the screws on the back (or drill them out) the lock will open and you can reset it.
