Need help

Postby Patch » 4 Sep 2004 0:29

Ok guys I need some help this bike belongs to my motorcycle. I think one of the pins lost the spring in the back of it, cause when you lay the lock down it falls into the chamber and if you tilt it upside down it goes into it's normal position. So my question is how can I take the rest of this lock apart without damage? I hope the pics below are good enough to see. Thanks for any advise you can give. Also I would like to try this out myself even if going to a pro is easier.

P.S. If you need better pics let me know I will try and put better ones up.

Patch tubulars have always been a b#$tard for me to work on. If you'd like the info on how to tear down and work on the things I can email you a guide with everything you need to know about tubular locks. If you're mechanically inclined, you should be able to install a new spring but its going to be a hairy mess your first time.
