I need a lock that meets these conditions.

Ok, so here's my situation. I need a bump-proof, difficult to pick, drill resistant, double-locking (deadbolt can be locked from both sides), and easily re-keyed (I'd rather not have my security compromised over a lost key on a +$100 lock) deadbolt for my new place. My price-limit is $200.

Surprisingly, Kwikset smartkey is really the only one that meets most of of these conditions.

Additionally, it would be nice if the key function (even with the correct key) could be immobilized from the inside at night much like the new Master Lock deadbolt, or the Ultimate Lock.

By double-locking, I don't want screws exposed on the inside, or anything that would make it easy for someone to take it apart without the proper key (like the double dead bolts at the the local hardware store). I want a thief to have to break the lock in order to take out stuff through the front door.

Am I asking for too much, or is there something out there like that?

Use a barn door bolt, (works like a bolt action rifle) to lock up overnight.

I wouldn't waste your money on that lock... Sure it is nice, but there is NO WAY that your door or opening is prepared for such a lock and that means that there are other vulnerabilities you must first address prior to installing such a lock...

Having such a lock installed will also make you a target to certain types of thieves who would see such an expensive lock as an indicator of untold riches to plunder inside your home...

Spend your money on a real alarm system rather than a Fort Knox lock on a standard grade door... There are people here who will tell you that an alarm system doesn't prevent the burglary -- this is correct, it merely sends a signal to the monitoring center which calls the police which would allow them a chance to catch the burglar by knowing when they broke in...

What are you trying to keep safe inside your house anyway?
