Hey everyone, brand new to the site and fairly new to picking. Picked up lock picking as a tool to assist in everyday issues of the job (Army). Someone is constantly losing keys and for some reason that's the only time the bolt cutters are missing, lol. Anyways, I have improved my abilities so much from reading the posts, outstanding site, incredibly helpful.

Always been interesting in lockpicking. Probably because my father had a huge safe and I always wanted to open it.
Several years ago I nearly took a correspondence course for locksmithing but chose something else. I really wish I had taken the locksmithing course instead.
I'll be trying to learn all I can here.

What kind of lock? House, Bike Key, Combo?

Hi Folks, I have just acquired a key safe with a Manifoil MK IV combination lock. The door is open, but the combination is not known. I do have the special combination change key.
I can't remove the back cover of the lock (I think it can only be removed if the lock is open.)
From the key hole at the back, I've worked out what the last digit is, but the top disk obscures the lower disks.

Any advice on how I can determine the old combination?
