I did see your question in your other post yesterday, but I've never seen any depth/spacing info for an MCM lock. (I actually did spend a few minutes looking through my various references for you last night.)

Ilco make three different blanks for MCM: for anyone who might have some info, it would probably help narrow it down if you had any photos of the keyway?

Hello Mac Gyver101
Many thanks for you help, this photo seems to be a different one. the lock I am refering to is one like the Euro lock. Both Cylinder built in one with the locking mechanism in the middle and there are two brass clip which hold the cylinder in place. There is a screw hole above the lock mechanism, this is where the screw is screw in to hold the cylinder in place.

This lock in a mortise lock, do you know the union mortise entry lock which use the key 1033N. This cylinder is almost the same. Where on the site I could find some lick to give you an example.

MCM PROFILE CYLINDER

Postby TRUE POWER » 1 Jun 2011 22:55

Hello Friends
The lock is a MCM PROFILE cylinder I would really love some info on spacing, depth and pins, any help would be welcome. I do have some info but I need More. I measure the depths but this is a worn key and pins. I do have my LAB .003 pin set and my Framon #2 code machine to get the job done.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, the board doesn't have any space left for hosting new images; the Posting Images FAQ describes a few options for posting them elsewhere.

Hi true power,
maybe please do not post each question on the same topic into a new thread, but re-use an existing one.
Thanks

Found two different charts for MCM:

First cut 4,3 mm from shoulder. 4,5 mm spacing.
1= 8,8
2= 8,3
3= 7,8
4= 7,3
5= 6,8
6= 6,3
7= 5,8 mm

second option:

6,6 mm from shoulder, 4 mm spacing.
1= 8,8
2= 8,3
3= 7,8
4= 7,3
5= 6,8
6= 6,3
7= 5,8
8= 5,3
9= 4,8
0= 4,3 mm

Hope this helps.

Hello,
Many thanks for the info, I am sure this will be of help to me. I have one problem though my caliper reads in thousands of an inch. Can you re send the info in thousand of an inch. My code machine in a Framon #2 made in America so you would understand.

Thanks.

Sorry, True Power, but I´m too lazy. And the metric system is the only way to go! :wink:
You can do it your self:

Google can also do the metric-to-imperial translation for you. :wink:
