ratyoke's picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Truly works of art. Wish I had more experience so I could justify ordering 1 or 2.

Yes I was teaching English. I really enjoyed it and I am going to be going back for another year as soon as I find a new job.
I didn't see any interesting locks, but I didn't look very hard either.

The little James Bond inside me wants a set of onyx handled pick with diamond accents. Some fancy dress picks, to match a tuxedo.

Snakewood

Boxwood. This pick was sanded up to 8000 grit and its really smooth. The boxwood takes a real nice finish. I completely failed to capture it in this photo...

another pic...

Not a pick, just a wood carving knife I made for myself. Snakewood handle, sterling silver ferrule.

Wooden handles are the best for working in a cold climate. the aluminum or other metal handles draw the heat right out of the hands.

That looks like your usual perfection ratyoke!

I enjoy making the wood picks more. But I plan to make a few aluminum ones again soon.
