thepickshop.com domain name was set to expire on 2/2/2004. Well it has been renewed for another year (2/2/2005). I wonder who did that?

So I guess this Internet version of a Tiger Pit will be staying online for another year :(

most domain registrars will automatically renew your domain for you so nobody else can grab it.

as for thepickshop.com, i just went there even though something that resembles a mainpage is still there, it looks to be uncared for and pretty much dead. images didnt load, yahoo basket gone, etc.

I just placed an order from www.lockpickshop.com because i saw on here that they are a very trusted source, and even had a discount if you type in lp101. Why in the world would you recommend the site, and keep it recommended in that thread if it's a fraud?.. anyways just now i saw this thread saying don't purchase from there. anyways i did call visa, and if it's a fraud, Visa will track him down, and he will be penalized by the law. And i won't have to pay for the fraudulant order. I hope what you say isn't true, because i'd hate to sue him over this. Even though i will if he doesn't ship my order. Thanks for the information guys, i'm prepared for the worst.

oh, thepickshop.com not lockpickshop.com nevermind i'm obviously blind. Can't wait, i ordered a MPXS-20 + the Training CD-ROM they offer. I havn't had a chance to pick locks before, but this will be a great start for me. I will be doing my certification soon and i wanted to get a little hands on practice before i jumped into a course. I have hundreds of locks around here to pick and it will be tons of fun!, i'll keep u guys updated.

I heard uncomfirmed reports that thepickshop owner was a fraud. Also I remember it being discussed on Totse a while ago.

lockpickshop.com is where I ordered my picks from. I got my order in a few days and I did get a confirmation email. I even had to email them back to ask that they ship UPS instead of USPS and they replied right away with "no problem".

I think they are legit.
