Very first pin tumbler lock picked!

Postby chubrock70 » 26 Oct 2011 21:43

WOW What a feeling! So when i heard the last click and the tension gave way on my US LOCKS Padlock it put a smile on my face. I just recieved my PSX 14 lockpick set in the mail today from LOCKPICKSHOP.com and started picking. I have been reading alot of information about how locks works things to feel for, things to listen for but it really cant be discribed until you pick up the lock and pick and start picking. It took me a pretty long time to get this lock picked but i didnt give up. I didnt rake the lock either i went to each individual pin felt for the pin with the most tension and found the binding pin and set it one by one. i had to reset the pins probally 25 times before i finally got it. but that baby opened!! Now its time to close it up and pick it again. I want to thank everyone on this site for all the information provided in each forum. It really helped me out when i got to start picking Thanks Everyone!

Congratulations. Eventually you'll end up looking at every lock on every door you encounter and thinking "I wonder how fast I could open that". :D
