Tubular Lock Problem.

Postby tysonface » 1 Oct 2012 12:29

Hey everyone!
I'm having problems getting into my vending machine. My fiancee closed it (first and only time she has ever touched it), and I can't get it open now.
Everything looks as it should. When I put my key in and turn, the key hits all the pins (I'm assuming because I can turn the key). But the key doesn't "catch" and unlock the machine. The key just keeps spinning around without doing anything, and I can't get in!

Any suggestions?

You are really not giving enough information : please tell us what kind of lock .. a picture of the vending machine, the key and todays paper or other way to assure the picture is todays.

I am sure someone here can assist you.

If it is the pop out handle the piece that pulls the bolt down is broken.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly whats wrong. What do you think the best way would be to get it open?

You must use Photobucket, Imgur or other similar service.

There is also a very good description about it at the forum but couldn´t find it now... This is a bit old, but principles are the same.
