Thank you - what a great and simple idea. I am new and have just purchased some cutaway locks and some picks but they do not teach you lock picking or the 'feel' you need. This is definitely something I will try - so I guess I need to buy a vice now! This is a great hobby and am now acquiring a lot of tools.

wow i was deffinetly surprised at how well it helped taking that burr off from the factory stampping! thanks great idea all the way around.

I realize how old this topic is, but as the first page and contents suggest (and sticky) It's extremely useful, and actually sounds like something a newbie like myself could probably benefit from. I'll need to pick up a cylinder from somewhere to try this now!

Not sure if its just me but the photo links to photobucket state the pictures may have been deleted or moved. Anyone have a copy of the pics?
