Forgive me if am posting this in the wrong place or touching on something already covered. I did search for this info but didn't see what I was looking for.
I was recently trying to pick a Medeco cam lock. I did get it open and took a look at the bottom of the plug. I could see the angled Medeco pins but the cam lock was only about 1/2" in diameter and the pin stacks were covered by a brass plate which slides in tightly above the stacks (the same way most basic mortise cylinders are closed), not the typical Medeco set screws. I didn't pull it for fear of bending it up and damaging it. The front had the Medeco logo and the 72s UL stamp on the front face of the plug.
Can anybody tell me if this is just a regular biaxial setup or if this is one of the ones with no driver pins in it? I have never worked on one so I do not know how to identify them or distinguish them from other Medeco styles.
Thanks in advance.
