is it possible to adjust the cylinder of a lock?

hi,

i would like to know if it is possible to adjust the cylinder of a particular lock so that another key may be able to open it?

its just like this:

key-A opens lock-A
key-B opens lock-B

what i want to happen is:

key-A opens lock-A and lock-B
key-B cannot open lock-B and lock-A

Umm.. U could file the key(s) or if u can take the lock apart u could change the wafers/pins/disks etc..

have a search up on Master keying and re-keying.

If I'm to understand what you're after - you want both a and b locks to be opened by the same key - then all that needs to happen is for both locks to be pinned the same. key b would then not work in either lock unless you master keyed the lock. (this is where two different keys can open the same lock)
