last time i needed help was to get into my 5 pin mailbox so that i could replace the lock for a new lock cylender. learned how to do up my own tools fra wiper inserts and files saving me like 750 danish kroner. now i lost my bike key and since i dont have the decoder numbers i cant get it of my bike.

but since i cant find info enough online im asking inhere.

i like to pick locks. And if i wanted to clean the city of bikes i would get a big van and a cutter instead.

Not a good idea around here .. for your first post to sound something like "Hey can you help me break into this lock "
When I finally leave this world.. Will someone please tell my wife what I have REALLY spent on locks ...

You did not do anything wrong, but you should know that coming to a forum for hobby lockpicking and the first question is about needing a tool to decode a bike lock, it may look like you are looking for trouble.

To answer your question, I do not believe there is a tool to decode Kryptonite disc detainer locks, that would be the same as Jaakko's tool. Maybe someone out there made a tool for fun to use and practice, but I do not know of such person. There are generic disc detainer picks sold on dealextreme.com but they only fit certain models of padlocks. You would have to have some skill with metal work to modify the tip of the tool to work with Kryptonite locks.

You may have to have a locksmith drill the lock to get it open, or you may have to use a hack saw to cut it off and then buy a new lock.

good luck,

I can see the problem u are raising Squelchtone, it was mostly to save the costly affair of getting a locksmith. and even with a tool like jaako's i would not have an easy time since i only barely getting the grip on normal 5-6 pins Ruko's with rake and bump's.

might just have to get in some bigger tools to do the job. getting a disc tool is also abit of money just to solve a problem a friends grinder og hack saw could do for free.

been loocking at the video again and he's even got a practise lock to look into so he doesnt hit the fake grooves. and still it doesnt look easy.
