Gougler Keyless Lock Code - F7226

Postby pmikwh » 1 Jul 2014 17:05

Hello Lock Experts....

I have just joined this site specifically to see whether anyone can help me unlock a Gougler combination lock which I used as a bicycle lock with a chain around 1970-1972.

I THOUGHT I remembered the combination for this one, but, alas....NO DICE......although I was able to remember the combination for my Dudley combination lock for my school locker from 1960-1963 !!

The Gougler code on the hinge side of the shackle is F7226.

I would be very appreciative if anyone could help me decipher the combination for this lock.

Can't figure out how to add a JPEG image showing the lock on the chain.....using the 'Img' icon above.
Won't allow me to paste the JPEG into this email.

I can send an email with a JPEG of the lock attached to the chain to anyone's email address who might be able to help me.

Thanks!

Peter

most gougler letter prefixed numbers were customer specific.

there may be a way to determine the code but is your motive questionable?

Well....if my motive were questionable I wouldn't be asking for anyone's email so I could send an JPEG of the lock attached to my bicycle chain (no bicycle).

How does one add an JPEG image to this email....unlike almost all other sites where one can just drag an image into the email?

use a third party host (like photobucket etc) and just upload the link here. That way this site doesnt run slow and get overloaded with pics.
