Hey all i've done a good bit of research on all these sets and have been trying to find the best prices etc, however i'm still having a hard time deciding. From what i've been reading about HPC in the other threads and favorite set thread i'm kind of leaning towards them.
I'm really thinking about the HPC Pro-Mixer set NDPK-24
which is a mix of the both the 2000 series picks and regular line from what i've read. It has 14 picks 5 tension tools and 5 extractors which i think 5 extractors is a little much for me but... I've seen this set as low as 55$
Or I could go with the HPC superior NDPk32 set which comes with more picks (22 picks 7 tension tools 3 extractors) priced as low as 58$ from what i can find
Also I might consider the Peterson Tri-fold or Bi-fold leaning more towards bi fold since i dont want a repeat pick set with dif. handles really
I started learning with a basic southord kit and am looking for a good step up, i mildy considered the 22pc Euro slimline but want to try another brand. Given the above and in my situation which would you go for? i'm worried that the pro-mixer hpc set still doesnt have enough picks for me but i've heard good things about the 2000 series picks. How is the quality/feel of these picks compared to the regular ones. Also how much of a need is there for slim line lock picks with the majority of the locks you'd pick - i've only done so many. This along question but i'd appreciate any response from people how have the above sets /picks
