Vehicle Key Cloners & programmers

Right, So as far as logging in again.. For some stupid reason this site never resets passwords, so to re enter, you need to remake another email address as the one youve used on here for years is still in use here but no reset link to reset the bloody passwords... Possible IT issue may need to be addressed!

Anyway, as a general Mobile locksmith UK, I've Been to the MLA conventions etc, But I have now decided to go to the ALEX one in a few weeks. Not doing Auto stuff before, Howev er I am also a practicing Auto mechanic who owns and uses diagnostic equipment but I'm diversifying into vehicle entry, key cloning and ecu programming, and eeprom. Now, It has been suggested that I do the hickleys 10 day Auto course, but the feedback I'm hereing is that they do not offer so much in the field after the course, or provide sufficient ongoing support.

Question 1
is this the best move forward to do this course they offer? if not then point me in the right direction.

Question 2
I know, like all things in the industry, there are mixed opinions, But again I need all opinions on machines to purchase, Keyscan? Tango? MVP/AD100? JMA TRS500? Silca RW4/plus/fastcopy? programmers Silca SBB? Zed Full? Mirraclone/eeprom?

any help at all would be much appreciated. And like all the electronic industry STAY AWAY FROM CHEAP CHINESE COPIES!

Apologies: I don't have the practical experience to offer any help on your main two questions... but as for the account:

I've never had a problem with the "I forgot my password" link on the login page. (I've had to reset my password a few times over the years.)
