I emailed them to let them know of their mistake and asked if they'd like me to send them back. They said they were in the process of updating their shipping software and to just keep the extra set which was $40. Their products seem high quality and I've been enjoying them. Not to mention they have pretty competitive prices and things I haven't seen anywhere else. I'll definitely be ordering more from them

I got to hang out a little and have dinner with the owner of Sparrows and some other notable names in locksport while at DEFCON in Las Vegas last summer, he's a very nice guy.

I don't know about Australia but I can tell you that you will be happy with Peterson gear. I have other brands but they are retired. I only use Peterson and home brews now.

I prefer plastic. Better feedback. Comfortable. High quality. You will want to give your new picks a good polishing, no matter what brand you buy.

About the polishing section of this statement... VERY true. A good polishing always insures that you will feel everything inside the lock as it is, given that you know what you're doing, and also, the ridges of the lock pick can cause some feed back issues. I can testify for this fact.

I had a Phoenix Ultimate GSP set delivered from Peteron to Australia just last week. It takes about 3 weeks to get here, and the tracking on the parcel doesn't go any further than the last destination in the states, but no issues with customs. There are no legal issues with importing picks, nor is it illegal to own picks. My parcel from Peterson was not interfered with by customs in any way. The picks are very nice too, I got plastic handles not because they were cheaper but because Bosnianbill said they give better feedback.

I'm about to order just about everything that sparrows make too :D so we shall se how it all compares
