Destructive methods of entry.

I would much prefer to pick something open, bypass it if i cannot pick it. however, if it were necessary to do a destructive entry, what are some of the methods i could use? i know some things can be drilled out, but i don't know what can be drilled out, and what cannot. what are some other methods of destructive entry?
