Howdy all, Im just intrested in buying some picks, the only problem is that I dont have a credit card, only a normal key card. Is there anyways to buy picks without using credit cards and not using mail. Or has anyone seen a website that allows bank card use? With my bank I can do internet banking, Like send money to other peoples accounts and stuff, mabey could I use Paypal or something? Any help would be greatly apreciated.

When I was 16 I purchased my first set of majestic picks at a "Spy Shop," yes I was picking BEFORE it was cool. Be prepared though, for a vigorous screwing on the price at such an outlet. I paid 80$ for a Lockaid pick gun and am still walking funny. Best bet is to go online however you can.

Or you might try asking another member close to you if they'd order them for you and have them sent to your house. You might be surprised at how generous some of us can be.

Paypal is a really fast and easy way to buy stuff. That's how I got my picks.

Thanks for all the replys, The only thing I need to know about pay pal is can I use money from my key card and put it on my paypal account to use on a website?

If your card has a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it then you can use it as a credit card. Paypay won't accept it if it does not have a symbol, but they can withdrawl directly from you bank account. I believe it takes a few days to process that way. You more or less give them permission to withdrawl a specific amount from you bank and place it in your Paypal account. It takes 3-5 days or so. Plus you have to set up a bank account with them and that takes 3-5 days to verify too. So it'll take a week or two before you can use the money.

Hi Hojo,

Unfortunately the Paypal thing straight from your account is a US only thing and if you're in Australia, they only accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex as sources of funds.

As a matter of interest what picks are you looking at? I'm considering sellling off my HPC Royal Rollup [link here] set that I just don't use. It's the HPC 2000 series picks with SureGrip handles (that's rubber in non 'marketing speak') and a nice rollup style case. If you're at all interested, let me know. They normally go for about $65 USD but I'd sell them for about $75 AUD. If not I'll probably stick them up in the Buy-n-Sell forum with some pictures and see if anyone else wants to bite but I'll offer you the first option

The picks themselves are really nice but I find I use my Petersons all the time and the HPC just sit there gathering figurative dust....
