Hmmm? Hath the collective heads of LP101 got together and are in the process of producing an updated version of the MIT guide??? (Good to see Pinky's name also in green).

yes - once again - this has been in the pipeline for a while - since late april I think.
sort of discussed here:

Authors include myself, Romstar and Pinky - cityspider helped a bit in the beginning Pyro has provided some insight also. alias has volunteered to investigate copyleft issues etc...
Romstar and I also think that it would be a good Idea to release a hard copy and have the proceeds go to some charity or some such worthy cause.
Current version is sitting with romstar.... *nudge nudge* and the release date is always "sometime next weekend"
I must say that it's going to be one fantastic free guide, developed by a combination of knowledge from people all over the world. we're getting it proof read by a proffessional copywrite and a techwriter. Diagrams by romstar, some pictures by pyro. a complete section on lever locks (thanks pinky!)....
in short - it's going to outshine the MIT guide in the same way that the mid-day sun outshines a glow worm.
so next weekend - look out.
