So i saw a lock today, and a friend that knows that i pick locks asked if I could pick it. I was unable to answer. let me explain: I knew it was a schlage , because it said so, but the keyway was definitely not a schlage classic, because the keyway was different. Based on the extra little slot, i determined that it was either a schlage everest or a primus. Is there a way to tell which is which just by looking at the front of the lock? I noticed (while doing a google image search) that many primuses have " primus" stamped on the front. is this the case with all primuses?
