I went to one of the meetup places in L.A. hosted by Datagram for the first time about 6 months ago. Only one guy there peaked my interest and this guy was out there. I was taken back how some individuals go by fake names. And when I called him by his first name (real), he got defensive and he corrected me to the fake name. Ok...whatever. It's hard to call it a sport with all secrecy. Maybe I should being using an alias. The environment just felt akward. A 120 mile trip wasted.

Eyes, if you going to start a meetup, this is just my two cents. You got to make it fun and inviting.

Yeah I go to the LA meet by Datagram but its still a little far for me. Last night was fun, and always good to brush up on safe locks. but still looking for a smaller meet up in Orange County.
