Wow man, great write up, honestly I self taught myself in the same exact way it's almost creepy haha, your credentials are impressive and if anyone just starting out and wants to know the best long run way to get good this guy hits the nail right on the head. Ive tackled quite a few locks and all I've ever used is a short hook. Def going to look into finding some varying sizes now that I read this article as I feel that is a solid investment at this point for me.
