Hello friends,
I hope everyone is doing well. As many of you may have heard, there has been heavy rains, resulting in floods in the Houston area over the past 48 hours.
The parking lot across the street, which has some big box retailers, has flooded quite a lot.
Across the street is the bank where I have a safety deposit box, which is in a safe door which I was told is air tight and locks upon entry of water. Within the vault, inside the bank, the box is located about 6ft above the ground.
The bank has been closed since the last 2 days, so I am concerned about my belongings. I presume the water has not penetrated the bank, and definitely not risen 6ft high.
However, I was wondering how these safe doors work, and whether, I should be worried about my belongings...which are basically some family related documents.
Also, do you have recommendations for a good small sized water proof safe box?
Thank you so much,
desidude
